Teaching Lab ("we", "our", or "us") operates a video recording and coaching application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.

• Account credentials (managed via Auth0)

b. Video and audio content

Video recordings and audio captured using the App. These recordings are uploaded automatically and associated with your account for coaching purposes.

c. Device Permissions

To provide our core services, the App requires access to specific device features. We only access these when you actively use the recording features:

• Camera: To record video for coaching sessions.
• Microphone: To capture audio for coaching sessions.
• Storage/Media: To temporarily store and upload the recorded files to our secure servers.

d. Usage and diagnostic data

Crash reports, error logs, and basic usage analytics via PostHog to improve app stability.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and operate the App and manage your account.
• Upload, store, and display recorded videos.
• Analyze video content using our AI-based coaching pipeline.
• Monitor performance, fix crashes, and improve product quality.

3. Video Processing and Storage

Videos are uploaded automatically to our secure cloud infrastructure.

• Processing: Videos are analyzed by our proprietary AI systems for coaching and feedback.
• Security: All video data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
• Access: Videos are only accessible to authenticated users through our dashboard.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted third-party services strictly to operate the App:

• Auth0 – User authentication.
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – Secure US-based video storage and AI processing.
• PostHog – Privacy-conscious product analytics.
• Crash reporting services – To detect and fix app errors.

We do not sell user data. We do not share personal data with third parties beyond what is necessary to provide these services.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe such data has been collected, please contact us immediately.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the App's features.

• Your Rights: Users may request account deletion, video deletion, or complete data removal at any time.
• Requests: Please email support@mail.teachinglabcoaching.com.
• Timeline: Once a deletion request is verified, we will permanently remove your data from our active databases within 30 days.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption and strict access controls. While no system is 100% secure, we take all reasonable steps to safeguard your information.
